Pride in Pembridge  

 JUNE - JULY 24

Summer is here and our village is looking colourful and tidy. 

The Platinum Jubilee Garden, Memorial Garden, and East Street planters have been pruned, weeded, and regularly watered.  

We have worked particularly hard mowing and strimming the Conservation area and clearing pathways through the glade. The Himalayan Balsam is not quiteso overbearing this year because of hard weeding in the past. It has a pink flower but unfortunately prevents anything else from growing. 

 Thank you to all who attended the PiPs’ Parish Hall Coffee morning, provided cakes and plants and gave donations. We are very grateful, and this support helps to fund future Pride in Pembridge projects. 

Next jobs include weeding Bridge Street, tidying the moat, and completing the Olympic themed East Street planters.
